Police Ask for Public's Help to Locate Missing Man, 72

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an elderly man who suffers from Alzheimer’s and was last seen in Menlo Park, police announced Tuesday.

72-year-old Robert Wilkes likes to hang out in downtown and was most recently seen near University Drive, according to police.

Wilkes was last seen wearing a green US Open baseball cap, glasses, a white turtleneck shirt, a navy blue sweater, khaki shoes and new balance running shoes, police said.

Wilkes may be carrying two brown Draeger’s Supermarket paper shopping bags, according to police.
