Sketch Of Prowler Released By Stanford Officers

STANFORD, CA - A sketch of a suspect in two prowling incidents Friday morning on the campus of Stanford University was released today by the Stanford Department of Public Safety.

Public safety officials are describing the suspect as a Hispanic man between 18 and 30 years old with a stocky build, short brown hair and brown eyes.

He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a gray shirt. The first incident occurred at about 3 a.m. and the second between 6 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of Campus Drive.

In both incidents, the suspect lifted the covers off of a woman as she was sleeping.

In the first incident, the woman screamed and scared the man away.

The woman then searched the house for about 30 minutes and saw the man again. From a distance, she asked him who he was and he ran out of the home.

In the second incident, the woman chased the man out of the home and into a parking lot. He was last seen running toward Campus Drive, according to public safety officials.
