Traffic Stop Leads To Peninsula Man's Arrest For Drugs, Gun

MILLBRAE, CA - A man was arrested Wednesday in Millbrae in connection with possession of a concealed firearm and drugs, according to sheriff’s officials. Deputies arrested Samuel Lopez, 20, of Redwood City, on suspicion of possession of a concealed firearm and possession of drugs.

On Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., deputies pulled Lopez’s vehicle over for a code violation near the area of Larkspur Drive and Pinehurst Court and located drugs and a concealed firearm, sheriff’s officials said.

Lopez is a validated gang member from Redwood City, according to sheriff’s officials.

He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
