Avoid Millbrae Firestone Auto Care....unless you like to be yelld at while being ripped off!

Millbrae Firestone is theΒ  WORST! They agreed to fix my car's overheating problem for a certain price, then when they called me to have itΒ picked up, quoted aΒ higher one! I reminded the manager thatΒ amount was not what I was told, he yelled at me and said I was to never show my face there again! Feeling intimidated, I asked my friendΒ to pay the bill and bring the key to me outside, so I could drive it home. As I drove the car home I noticed a burning smell. When I reached home, I let it cool, and looked at the reservoir; it was EMPTY! I put in coolant, thinking Firestone merely overlooked it, and drove to a friend's house in Mountain View. When I got to Mountain View the car was steaming up! I let I cool down, and put in more coolant. When leaving Mountain View, it heated up again. I pulled into Kragen, andΒ the manager came out and asked if he could help. He looked at the metal bolt Firestone putΒ in the reservoir to plug up the hole, and shook his head! He said they didn't do the job right, and I should complain. I got the car home, and it sat in my driveway, until I could get it looked at by a competent mechanic. TheΒ Millbrae 76 station has mechanics youΒ can trust to do the job right, and treat you honestly!Β I was told thatΒ the block had cracked, as a direct result of the workΒ Firestone did, and Β failed to do on my car! I took Firestone to small claims court, and they didn't even show up! But, the judge took it upon herself to fight the case FOR Firestone, and make a mockery of me, and the justice system! I don't have the verdict yet, but I won't be astonishedΒ  whenΒ I get a big goose eggΒ & Firestone can keep another lawsuit off the books! Where's the justice? I will be ready to picket outside of Firestone, if the verdict is not a fair one! See you there!
