BREAKING: 2 Shot in Millbrae, 'Active Investigation' Underway
Sheriff's officials say they are on scene of a double shooting in Millbrae which may have been an attempted murder/suicide.

MILLBRAE, CA- San Mateo County sheriff's officials are on scene Tuesday of a double shooting that has left a man and woman hospitalized in serious condition, authorities report.
According to sheriff's Det. Salvador Zuno, the shooting was reported at 8:45 a.m. in the 200 block of La Cruz Avenue, and may have been an attempted murder/suicide.
"Upon arriving inside the home, [deputies] located two adults, one male, one female both suffering from serious gunshot wounds," Zuno said. "Both were taken to a local hospital and are being treated for serious injuries."

Zuno says police are on scene of the "very active investigation" as of 12:30 p.m.
Police do believe the incident to be isolated, and are not looking for any outstanding suspects, he said.
"The information they have at this time suggests this was an attempted murder / suicide," Zuno said.
