It pains me to think about all the children in schools who are being bullied on an everyday basis and how the schools do nothing about it. They may do big "bullying awareness" assemblies and offer counseling but what does that really do? It spreads awareness but what do the schools actually do when bullying is reported time and time again? Let me tell you, my niece goes to Mills highschool a school my entire family has went to and we have talked numerous times to the school to stop the bullying, to do something, suspend the kid next time she tells my niece shes going to hurt her, do something. Instead they allow it to carry on with no punishment for the bully, they allow her to continue to cheer and participate in dances and other activities. Things my niece can't do because they harassment never stops!! I am fed up with the Mills High School!! Why should we continue to send our children to you when you don't take care of them? Why should I trust you to keep my child safe when you are presented with issues and do nothing about them? If it was one of their children I bet they'd make a difference! Haven't we lost enough children to bullying? I cannot fathom why the school is not taking these issues more seriously!! Something needs to change, I don't know if its the people they choose to run the school or what. I want this issue investigated!
