”What’s Your Story?”A Writing Contest for YouthAges: 5-8, 8-11, 11-14. Submit a 5-10 minute short story or play (Usually between 8 to 20 pages.) about a mystery that is solved May draw on any topics such as: history, nature, family, fantasy,pets, science fiction or detective work.Winners will have their story adapted into a short play that will be performed as part of the Notre Dame de Namur University’s Labor Day Children’s Theatre Festival. Performance dates are August 23 & 30 at 1 p.m. at NDNU Theatre in Belmont.Your story should have a beginning, middle and end with at least two characters but not more than six.Winners will receive gift cards to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple or AMC Theatres.Deadline for submission is May 31.
