City Of Millbrae Distributes Face Masks To Vulnerable Residents

Dear Millbrae Residents,

On April 17th, the San Mateo County Health Officer in conjunction with other Bay Area counties issued an order requiring individuals to wear a face covering when they need to leave their home to work or obtain essential goods and services. The Order went into effect on April 17, 2020, and was enforceable as of 8 a.m. on April 22, 2020.

In a continued effort to assist our citizens, the City of Millbrae has ordered face masks for distribution to members of the community. We have also received a generous contribution of additional face masks from the Millbrae Lions Club.

At this time, the City is distributing face masks and prioritizing requests for residents 60 years of age and older, and for those with limited means to obtain a protective mask.

For Chinese speaking only residents, please call 650- 259-2332. For non-English speaking residents, please leave a message and the request will be directed to the appropriate staff person.

為了支持各位市民能夠有效遵守灣區各縣在4月17日頒發的「口罩令」，米爾布雷市政府訂購了口罩頒發予本市居民。由於數量有限，將優先頒發給予60歲以上耆英或部份因特殊情況而無法購買口罩的人仕。說國/粵語的市民如要索取口罩，請撥打650-259-2332留言。

With the additional assistance from the Millbrae Lions Club, a drive through face mask giveaway will be held at the City of Millbrae Library Parking lot this Saturday, May 2, 2020, and Sunday, May 3, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.

To maintain social distancing and safety, please abide by the requirements to maintain at least six (6) feet of separation, wear face coverings and wash hands frequently.
