Bark for Life, a non-competitive walk event for dogs and their owners, is being held in Millbrae on April 23, 2011 to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. Community members are invited to bring their four-legged friend to Millbrae Central Park for a one-mile walk beginning at 9:00 am. At the conclusion of the walk, games, contests, and demonstrations will take place at the Kohl's parking lot from 10:00 am to noon. Pre-event online registration is recommended ($15 for the first dog and $10 for a second dog), and on-site registration begins at 8:00 am.
