Helen And Larkspur Sanitary Sewer Replacement - Traffic Delays Expected In Millbrae

This week, City of Millbrae contractors will be performing sewer line replacement and cleaning work along Larkspur and Helen Drives. Minor traffic delays are expected.

Starting on Monday, July 13, 2020, K.J. Woods Construction will begin work to replace the existing sewer main along the 900-1000 block of Helen Drive, 900 block of Larkspur Drive, as well as the intersection at Helen and Larkspur. During the project, the contractor will use trenchless methods to replace the lower sewer lateral and sanitary sewer mains.
During construction, traffic controls will be used and a CMS board will be placed on Helen Drive to alert drivers of the construction ahead. Access to local residents, deliveries and emergency services will be provided at all times. This section of the ongoing project is expected to take up to three weeks to complete.
