Meet an Art & Wine Vendor: Country Woodcrafts and Mayari Jewelry
Millbrae Patch interviewed wood crafters and a jeweler.
Millbrae Patch interviewed Jeff DeVore and Joanne Guerrero, the owners of Country Woodcrafts and Mayari Jewelry, respectively.
Jeff and his wife Lori of Country Woodcrafts make all of their intricately cut wood works themselves. The couple makes everything from solid red oak using saws and a laser. Each unique work of art is made with care and can take several hours to create.
Joanne Guerrero of Mayari Jewelry specializes in hand-made wood and stone jewelry. Joanne gets her products from both the Philippines and the United States, utilizing limestone, turquoise stones, wood from bamboo, and several other items. What started as a hobby has become a small business for Guerrero, and she is very excited about kicking off her new business.
