Millbrae Bank Robbery Reported, Suspect Sought

BREAKING: Police say they're still figuring out how much cash was taken.

MILLBRAE, CA β€” San Mateo County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed a local bank this week, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man walked into a Chase Bank on El Camino Real in Millbrae, demanded money from a teller and left, according to sheriff's Det. Sal Zuno.

It happened around 1:10 p.m. Monday at 10 S. El Camino Real, Zuno said. No weapon was reported.

"The amount of cash taken is still being confirmed and no injuries were sustained," Zuno said in a news release. "Additional details on the suspect’s description and additional details of the crime are not being given at this time to protect the ongoing investigation."
