Millbrae Celebrates MLK Day Of Service

On Monday, January 20, 2020, the City of Millbrae will celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service by transplanting roses from the site of the former Millbrae Community Center to the new Millbrae Community Garden at Central Park.

During the Day of Service project, volunteers will transplant rose bushes and other plants from the site of the former Millbrae Community Center to the Community Garden in Central Park. Come out and pay tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. during this day of service, and help to continue to beautify Millbrae.

Volunteers will meet at 10 a.m. at Central Park in front of the Community Garden. Volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and water. Hot Chocolate, fruit and snacks will be provided. To register as a volunteer, please call (650) 259-2338.
