A Millbrae Community Parade Celebrating The Class Of 2020

On Friday, May 29th, Millbrae community members are invited to join in a community parade to celebrate the Mills High School and Capuchino High School Class of 2020.

Parade participants are asked to meet along Library Avenue, behind the Millbrae Library, at 5:15 p.m. to prepare for the procession throughout the city.

Please try to decorate your vehicle before arriving. If you have any signs, bullhorns, megaphones, or pompoms, please bring them. We want to make noise and show our support and love for the graduates.

The parade will start at 6 p.m. Graduates will be outside their homes in their caps and gowns, after their virtual graduation ceremony, as the parade proceeds throughout the city. The parade is expected to last about 45 minutes.

If you are unable to join the parade, you can still support the graduates by going on your front porch or driveway at 6 p.m. and cheering for them.

Car parades are allowed under the current county COVID-19 Public Health Order, but all protocols must be adhered to such as face masks and social distancing.

This parade is a last minute event to show support for our Class of 2020 graduates, and any and all participation is greatly appreciated. We hope to see you there.
