Millbrae Suspect Who Approached Girls Sought

MILLBRAE, CA -- Sheriff's deputies are asking the public's help in finding a suspect who approached two different young girls in Millbrae Wednesday.

In both incidents, a man described as around 20-25 years old drove up to a teenage girl and tried to have a conversation with her, according to the san Mateo County Sheriff's office. In both instances, the young girl
ignored him and walked away.

The first incident happened around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Avenue and Taylor Boulevard. A man driving a golden brown minivan approached a 13-year-old, police said.

Hours later, at 2:30 p.m. on East Hillcrest Boulevard just east of El Camino Real, a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man driving a silver Mini Cooper with black and white checkers on the side, according to police.
