Police Asking for Help Identifying Hit-and-Run Suspect

The vehicle involved in the collision may have been a white, mid-1990s Isuzu Rodeo or Honda Passport with black door trim.

Police asked the public for help identifying a suspect in a hit-and-run Sunday in Daly City that left a woman with serious head injuries.

The woman, 61, was hit at 9:50 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Street and Vale Street as she was walking in the crosswalk, according to police.

The woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where she remains, police said.

The vehicle is missing the driver’s side mirror and a turn signal lens on the driver’s side is broken, police said.

People last saw the vehicle traveling south on Mission Street toward Colma, according to police.
