More than 50,000 babiesΒ are bornΒ prematurely each year in California, including more than 3,000 inΒ the South Bay,Β costing the state nearly $2.5 billion and having anΒ immeasurable impact onΒ families. To support critical research andΒ education in local communities, theΒ March of Dimes California Chapter isΒ hosting the San Jose March for BabiesΒ walk onΒ AprilΒ 26. Money raised through March for Babies enablesΒ the March of Dimes to continue an ongoing investment in lifesaving research andΒ programs soΒ thatΒ every parent will know the joy of a healthy newborn.
