SFO IS CREATING MORE NOISE THAN EVER! THEY ARE TAKING ON MORE AIRLINES, AND DON'T CARE IF RESIDENTS HAVE NO HOURS OF REST!

SFO has shown its callous side after the Asiana crash, when they fought tooth and nail to keep from compensating the poor families of the girls who were survivors of the crash, but killed by “rescue” vehicles! Now, SFO keeps up that same attitude by bringing in more airlines that fly in and out at all times of the day, night, and early morning hours: AT OUR EXPENSE! The airport has been bragging about how they take on more and more airlines! Yes, it is noticeable! I have heard much LOUDER BLASTS from the airport THAN EVER, and at EARLIER HOURS THAN EVER!! It is one thing to understand that one lives by an airport, and must accept a certain amount of discomfort from it, but when the airport makes NO ATTEMPT WHAT-SO-EVER TO CO-EXIST WITH SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, NO ATTEMPT AT NOISE ABATEMENT, AND FEELS LIKE THEY CAN TORTURE WITH IMPUNITY, THEY HAVE GOTTEN TOO BIG FOR THE AREA, AND TOO IMMUNE TO A LACK OF DECENCY TOWARD HUMAN BEINGS! It is like SFO got a taste of blood, and likes it! The monster is on the loose! I also find fault with our Federal Congressional Representative, Jackie Speier, and local elected officials for DOING NOTHING TO, PROTECT THE RESIDENTS! They KNOW of the escalation of noise and terrible recent intrusion of SFO into local lives, but no word from them as to anything that will ever be done! Of course, Congresswoman Speier lives in the isolated, insulated land of Hillsborough, where they live a pampered life, and no one dares to invade their fairy land with the grave matters of life that the rest of us must endure! Just like a slumlord that refuses to fix terrible living conditions, she appears to be content with allowing SFO to do what they want, and we neighbors should just “suck it up!” Perhaps she needs to spend some “quality” time in Millbrae across the street from SFO, or even further up the hill, where noise and vibration from SFO are as fresh, and intense as if they were happening right in the driveway! I have written many an email, to SFO, to Bert in SFO “Noise Abatement,” to our Congresswoman, to the County Supervisor, and Mayor Lee of SF, but what has happened to change anything? NOTHING! It has gotten WORSE! Many times the airport allows blasts from jets to go on until 3 am, and it starts up again at 5, or 6 am! Nice healthy amount of sleep for people, huh? Statistics show, that people who live near airports have a higher chance of heart disease, cancer, and children have learning disabilities. Does that matter to the “powers that be?” Obviously NOT! I was told that the airport is sinking. I am not sure when the final bubble will pop to the surface, but perhaps SFO is planning on having their airport across the freeway...on the residential side! Perhaps the reason no one cares about the noise they make to torture residents, is because they have a vision of taking over Millbrae for their new site! Hey Burlingame and Hillsborough, getting nervous now? SFO is getting TOO BIG for their space. What they need is to go somewhere that is more roomy, less populated. They need to have to respect our environment, and learn to say NO to more, and more airlines, and around the clock flying times! We know that SFO has no respect for human life, but they need to learn that PEOPLE MATTER, AND THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO SERVE THEM, NOT DESTROY THEM! Find me a Representative in Congress who will actually attend to the needs of their constituents, and I will give them my vote!
