Sheriff's Office Looking for Truck, Driver in Peninsula Hit-and-Run
Police say that a man was crossing a Millbrae street when he was struck and left on the roadway Tuesday night.

MILLBRAE, CA- San Mateo County sheriff's officials on Wednesday asked for the public's help in finding a driver who hit a man as he tried to cross a local street, and then fled.
According to sheriff's officials, the incident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday, in the 500 block of El Camino Real in Millbrae.
"While attempting to cross, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the #1 lane of northbound El Camino Real just north of Mateo Ave, in the City of Millbrae," officials said in a news release. "The vehicle made no attempt to stop after the collision and fled the area."

Right now, the only description police have of the vehicle is that it was likely a silver Toyota Tacoma truck.
The man, identified as a man in his 60s, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the sheriff's office. He was not in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
