Subject: Society of Western Artists Current Exhibit through January 26, 2018

The current show at the Society of Western (West Coast) Artists Fine Art Center, 527 San Mateo Ave., San Bruno and runs until January 26, 2018.

Please check our website for directions at www.societyofwesternartists.com. The Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Judges were by Laura Johnson, Olga Parr, and Sherry Vockel.

Representational art awards went to Pat McMorrow for her

first place pastel “Blue Streak", to Ji-Young Yoon for her second place pastel

“Childhood”, to Diana Day Glynn for her third place watercolor

“I’ve Snapped”, to Leona Moriarty for her Honorable Mention watercolor

“Above the Falls” and to Fran Simontacchi for her first place nonrepresentational untitled acrylic.

Other participants were Jane Presta, Barbara Todd, John Barrows, Evelyn Nitzberg, Carrie Drilling, Yvonne Newhouse, Sharon Harris, Helen Scheel, Lynne Flodin , Tony Pepito, Laurie Rodriguez, Rose Nieponice, and Deepali Kapatkar.
