The San Mateo County Sheriff's Department Told Me that We Live in an Airport Town, and to Just Deal With the Noise!

I spoke with the Sheriff's , Department Sunday night, after the hour-upon-hour of horrible, invasive noise pollution torture by SFO, who was allowing planes to sit by the main terminal, blasting their engines! I asked Sheriff's employee, Number 94 (as she called herself) about citing SFO for their extreme noise pollution, just as they would anyone for disturbing the peace. She said, "we don't do that!" and, "You live in an airport town, you have to put up with it!" Such diplomacy! Such concern for human welfare! We now pay big, for the DREGS of "law enforcement," after the city manager kicked out our police force! Millbrae is the dog sitting under the dining table, hoping for a little something to drop down that might make the patient endeavor worthwhile! Granted, airport noise is beyond rent-a-cop's jurisdiction, but the contempt I heard in that sanctimonious voice on the other end of the line galled me! We have had promises BROKEN by San Mateo County Sheriff's Department to keep our streets safe! Instead, they go to the homes of the people who are worried about the safety of residents, and harass them, rather than fixing the problem! (harassment was even at the behest of the Millbrae City Manager, who obviously hates street safety!) BRING BACK OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT! 

    SFO COULD take measures that other residential airports take, BUT THEY WON'T, THEY DON'T CARE IF THEIR NOISE POLLUTION MAKES US ILL, AND NERVOUS, AND HATING LIFE IN MILLBRAE! Some of us have been connected with Millbrae through family, all our lives, and this noise pollution was never really as much of an issue, because it didn't impact anyone as much! The airport has grown, and grown, and it will not stop its greed to take on more and more air carriers, nor will it implement any noise relief measures at all! SFO will keep growing until it has no more room! SFO does not want to spend money to make mere HUMANS more comfortable, when they could give themselves a larger profit! There are MANY measures SFO could take to keep noise down, but why should they bother? So far, I have not spoken to one SFO employee who lives in Millbrae! It would cost SFO a small investment to give relief to HUMAN BEINGS, but we are not important...MONEY is their god! I was told by an SFO employee that SFO is sinking. Maybe they want Millbrae, so they can have a back-up airport when that happens! Residents of Millbrae, fight this BLIGHT of an airport! They don't care about doing the right thing and implementing even the tiniest of noise abatement procedures; not even ones that cost them NOTHING! They hate us,  LET'S RETURN THE FAVOR!  

     Millbrae is being dumped on from within, and from outside, and if people do not speak up, go vote for people who care about the city, we will sink down to the bottom too, just like our rude neighbor to the west!
