Volunteerism in Bloom at Millbrae Campus
Taylor Middle School staffers, students and parents will install a planting bed in front of the school on Saturday.

Visitors to Taylor Middle School will soon see a greener and more colorful campus, and they'll have an army of community volunteers to thank.
Staffers from the Millbrae school, along with students and parents will install a planting bed at the front of the school on Saturday.
The volunteers will install an irrigation system and a drought-tolerant native garden in the 230-square foot plating bed at the front of the school.

During the school year, student groups will assist in the garden as part of their seventh grade science curriculum of exploring the structure and function of living systems.
