70-90 year old Rock & Rollers to perform at Sweetwater Music Hall
The Redwoods Rock & Roll Senior Chorus, "Rock the Ages", to perform at historic Sweetwater Music Hall on December 27th, 2015 at 7pm
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2015, MILL VALLEY – The performance will be held from 7-8:30 pm, doors open at 6pm; tickets are $12-$14 and can be purchased at www.sweetwatermusichall.com. 19 Corte Madera Ave., Mill Valley. This will be RTA’s second performance at Sweetwater (the first was sold out).
Established in 2009, Rock the Ages comprises residents ranging in age from their late 70’s and up, from The Redwoods, a community of seniors in Mill Valley, CA. Directed by local musician extraordinaire Barry Blum, the chorus puts their flavor on their grandchildren and great grandchildren’s hits from the 60’s to today performing songs by James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Ramones, Eurhythmics, PussyCat Dolls, Coldplay and many more. At The Redwoods our rockers aren’t just chairs.
