ACTING SUMMER CAMP AT THROCKMORTON THEATRE!
Theatre based summer camp for young people, grades 2-5 (June 22-July 10), and 6-9 (July 13-July 24). Camp takes place in an actual theatre!

ACTING OUT at the THROCK, Summer Camp 2015!
Join us for a summer of acting, singing and dancing at the Throckmorton Theatre! ACTING OUT at the THROCK, Throckmorton Youth Performers’ fun-packed summer camp, offers rich, engaging theatrical experiences for young performers of all backgrounds and abilities, taught by a staff of professional artists from the Bay Area.
SESSION 1 (2ND-5TH GRADERS) $1,050

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 9AM-3PM
The 2nd-5th graders will be performing SPACE PIRATES, a new musical for young performers, featuring pirates, aliens, space travel and adventure. This fun, energetic musical is designed to give a wide range of young performers an opportunity to hit the stage and shine! Campers spend the first part fo the day rehearsing and doing show-related crafts. The second part of the day is spent focusing on singing, acting and dance training in small, age-based groups. In addition, session one campers take a field trip to the Mountain Theatre for a day of acting in the sun at this beautiful venue. Finally, the ever popular Barbeque and Movie Night is back on Wednesday, July 1. The session culminates in a performance of SPACE PIRATES for friends and family on the last day of the session, Friday, July 10!

SESSION 2 (6th-9th GRADERS) $725
JULY 13TH-JULY 24TH, 2015
MONDAY-FRIDAY, 9AM-3PM
This year’s theme for the 6th-9th grade session is ADVENTURES IN BROADWAY! Campers and instructors work together picking songs from Broadway musicals that are inspired by our theme. Then Students will work in small groups, creating scenes to accompany the songs they are performing! Instructors guide the creative process, as well as giving instructions in acting, singing, and dance. In addition, session two campers go on a field trip to see MATILDA in San Francisco on Wednesday, July 22. The session culminates in an original performance featuring Broadway songs, with scenes written and performed by the campers for family and friends on the last day of the session, July 24th!
