Bank Robber Caught After Back-To-Back Heists In Marin County: Police
The suspect used demand notes and implied he had a handgun during the robberies at two banks, police said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Police arrested a suspect connected to two bank robberies committed minutes apart in Greenbrae and Corte Madera on Tuesday morning.
At around 9:48 a.m. on Tuesday, Central Marin Police officers said they received the initial report of a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 100 Bon Air Center in Greenbrae.
While officers were investigating the first incident, a second bank robbery was reported shortly after at the Bank of America, located at 663 Tamalpais Dr., in Corte Madera.

Investigators said witnesses described a similar looking suspect in both incidents. In both robberies, the suspect used demand notes and implied he was armed with a handgun, leading victims to believe they were in danger, police said.
Witnesses described the suspect’s car and a Ross Police Officer found the vehicle on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Kentfield.

Police arrested the suspect but have not released his identity at this time.
