Big-Rig Overturns, Spills 14K Gallons of Paint
The incident required a full hazardous materials response. Lucas Valley Road is closed in both directions at Big Rock.

A big-rig overturned this morning southwest of Novato, spilling an estimated 14,000 gallons of paint, according to the Marin County Sheriffβs Office.
The incident was reported around 6:25 a.m. on Lucas Valley Road near Westgate Drive, California Highway Patrol officials said said.
Lucas Valley Road is closed in both directions from Westgate Drive to Big Rock because of the collision, according to the sheriffβs office. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes to West Marin.

The white big-rig was hanging over a ridge and the paint spill is inaccessible, according to the CHP.
