Blown Transformer Starts Small Fire, Closes Nearby Streets In Mill Valley
Montford Avenue between Miller and Ethel avenues was closed, along with Ethel Avenue between Montford and Evergreen avenues.

MILL VALLEY, CA – A blown transformer ignited a small fire and closed nearby streets Thursday in Mill Valley, according to the Mill Valley Police Department.
As of 4:23 p.m., Montford Avenue between Miller and Ethel avenues was closed, along with Ethel Avenue between Montford and Evergreen avenues.
Officials said police officers and firefighters were on scene, with Pacific Gas and Electric Company crews on their way to the site. Police advised people to avoid the area.
