Burglar ​Arrested Inside Sausalito​ House: Police

Joshua Lloyd, 34​, of San Francisco,​ allegedly entered the unlocked home, took clothes from the basement and refused to leave, police said.

SAUSALITO, CA — A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he allegedly entered an unlocked Sausalito house, took clothes from the basement and refused to leave.

A housekeeper found the suspected burglar shortly before 3 p.m. inside the home on Alexander Avenue, according to the Sausalito Police Department. The man, later identified as Joshua Lloyd, 34, of San Francisco, was making incoherent threats and refused to leave the property, the housekeeper told police.

Police found Lloyd on the home's balcony. Police said he apparently entered the unlocked house and took clothing from the basement. Lloyd also had a burglary tool, a glass pipe and a small plastic bag with possible residue from narcotics, according to police.

Lloyd was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of a burglary tool and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He was booked into Marin County Jail.
