CERT Training Comes to Mill Valley Community Center on April 2 & 9

CERT Training in Mill Valley

Community Emergency Response Team classes will be held in Mill Valley for the next two Saturdays, April 2 & 9, both days 8:30 am -5:30.

These are our citizen first responders who will be assisting all of us in a large-scale emergency, such as an earthquake. Our public safety personnel are limited in numbers and we will be on our own for some period of time. Here’s how to learn those life-safety skills, such as putting out fires with a fire extinguisher, basic first aid, how to determine if it’s safe to search for a trapped earthquake victim & how to do so safely and how to form a team of volunteers to check on neighbors.

STEP UP and make a difference! There is still room in the class so join us for this engaging and important training. Cost is only $45.00 & scholarships are available.
