BREAKING: Firefighters from multiple Marin agencies responded to the blaze Thursday evening.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Firefighters from Kentfield, Ross Valley, Corte Madera and Marin County quickly extinguished a structure fire at a Kentfield home that if spread would have started burning on Mt. Tamalpais, authorities reported.
The fire reported around 7:30 p.m. Thursday was contained to the garage of a home in the 300 block of Evergreen Drive in Kent Woodlands, according to a Twitter post from the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
A vehicle parked inside the garage was being investigated as the possible cause of the fire.
