Deer Spotted On Highway 101 In Marin County

MARIN COUNTY, CA – About an hour after a flock of ducks were reported on Highway 101 in Marin County, a deer has been spotted on the freeway.

The deer was reported on southbound Highway 101 near the Lucas Valley Road offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP incident log reported the sighting at 10:56 a.m. The log said the deer was running southbound in the center divider.

Earlier Monday morning, a mother duck and her ducklings were reported on southbound Highway 101 near Rowland Boulevard, according to the CHP.
