What does it take to stitch together thousands of pages of historical data into a Pulitzer Prize-winning biography? Hundreds of biographies are published each year; what makes one worthy of publishing's highest prize? Much is written about the artistry required to write great fiction, but it is arguably even more difficult to write nonfiction that is not only factual, but a spellbinding yarn. Biographer T.J. Stiles clearly has that gift, and he will share his insights with the audience during a live conversation with journalist Jane Ganahl.
