Fall Farm Tour at the Woolly Egg Ranch

Tours 10am-11am & 1-2pm

Please park at Tam Valley Community Center,
203 Marin Ave, and walk to the ranch at 503 Tennessee Valley Road.  Parking for disabled is available at the ranch.

Once upon a time around 1867, Farmer Ken’s grandparents started the now historic Woolly Egg Ranch. Today it is Tamalpais Valley’s only working sustainable farm.  The tours includes meeting the barnyard
regulars baaing sheep, and clucking chickens.

Learn how to care for farm animals; solar systems for farm vehicles run on bio fuels; water collection systems; environmentally friendly chicken coops; and meeting The Woolly Swarm our resident honey and pollen experts. The fields can be uneven and muddy so wear appropriate
foot wear and dress warmly.
