First Fridays at the Library

Experience thought-provoking lectures and performances in a unique setting as the Library's Main Room is transformed into a beautiful, intimate venue for events. Enjoy a glass of wine and mingle with friends, old and new, at post-performance receptions. Must be 15 or older to attend.

Before WikiLeaks, there were the Pentagon Papers. In 1971 Daniel Ellsberg released top secret documents detailing the U.S. involvement in Vietnam to the media at great personal risk, and the world was never the same. Ellsberg continues to advocate for transparency in government and against the misuse of American power abroad. Ages 15 and over.

We expect this to be a very popular event. Please read all instructions carefully to avoid disappointment.

Early entrance for pre-registered guests starts at 6:00pm and ends at 6:30pm. Pre-registered guests who arrive after 6:30pm will be required to join the existing wait line.

Pre-registration for this event is closed.  There will be some standing room only spaces available the night of the event.  Please arrive early to get in the standing room only wait line. That line will be let in starting at 6:30pm.  We can't guarantee entrance to this event.
