In this richly illustrated program, local author Abby Wasserman will discuss the inspirational life of Mary Lindheim (Mary Tulhill Lindheim) and her innovative, elegant sculptures, ceramics, mosaics and jewelry. A resident of San Francisco and Mill Valley, Mary was one of a very few women in the 1940's to excel nationally in the field of ceramics and to help legitimize its potential as a fine arts medium.
