Rocks, Pebbles, and Stones, Oh My!

Perfect for elementary schoolers, the Mill Valley Public Library's "Rocks, Pebbles, and Stones, Oh My" features some rockin' good reading. Hear about a rock that causes sleeping sickness (Anansi and the Moss-Covered Rock by Eric Kimmel) and a pebble that grants wishes (Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig). Top it off with a famous tale about a stone that transforms bland broth into a delicious meal (Stone Soup by Jon J. Muth).

This program is recommended for kids in first grade and up and no advanced sign-up is needed.
