Staff Development Day

The Mill Valley School District encourages its educators to take advantage of formal and informal learning opportunities because it believes that professional development is an ongoing process that teachers should actively participate in. One such opportunity that the district provides are Staff Development Days where teachers can collaborate, observe colleagues, participate in training, analyze data and learn from research and experts in the field of education. Most development programs also include time for reflection and dialogue amongst participants.
