Whether you are brand new to piano, returning after many years, or looking for lessons for your child, my lessons are fun, relaxed, and encouraging, while still providing a strong foundation in reading music, rhythm, technique, music theory and overall musicianship. In 2026, I am celebrating my 28th year of teaching private piano lessons. I teach a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz and blues, popular songs, and music that reflects each student's interests. From Boston to Nashville, from Denver to Miami, Pop-Folk singer/songwriter Michelle Lambert has been performing to audiences all over the country! And now, Michelle brings her amazing show to the Marin Art and Garden Center’s Redwood Amphitheater, Thursday, August 20th. Come with the entire family and enjoy Michelle‘s Pop/Folk set with influences from Ed Sheeran and Amy Winehouse!
Now touring out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Michelle will take you through the adventures of her life with insightful lyrics, powerful vocals, energetic delivery, and electric violin hooks! The artist and songwriter Michelle will reflect on the experiences she has been through, from the rigid and committed work as a classical violinist and singer during her early days in Northern California, to the happy and festive Celtic music honed in Scotland. From the structured sounds of the classrooms at Berklee School of Music in Boston to the years spent perfecting her storytelling on the stages of the Honky Tonks in Nashville, Michelle has emerged as the professional entertainer guaranteed to please audiences of all ages. Don’t be mistaken by her colorful clothes, her flying red ponytails or her candid smile. When Michelle steps on stage, you will witness all of her experiences melded together to generate a result that defies music genres or styles. Join Michelle in the Marin Art and Garden Center’s Redwood Amphitheater, Thursday, August 20th. Her one-hour show starts at 5:30 p.m.

This summer, Acterra is proud to present the 2026 Marin Green@Home Tours! This is a free, community-powered event that invites the public to explore innovative, electrified homes. On Saturday, August 29th, from 11AM to 3PM, explore homes throughout Marin County, ranging from new construction to those transitioning away from gas. Gain valuable insights from tour hosts on appliance selection, contractor decisions, installation processes, tax credits, and incentives, making your transition to electric living informed and cost-effective.
Attendees will have the chance to see firsthand a wide variety of electric appliances and environmentally-conscious home upgrades, including energy-efficient heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, induction cooktops, rainwater catchments, compost bins, electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels, battery storage systems, and more.
