Woolly Egg Ranch: "Save and Store Your Harvest"

"Save and Store Your Harvest or What do I do With All These Zucchinis?"

Once upon a time around 1867, Farmer Ken’s
grandparents started the now historic Woolly Egg Ranch.
Today it is Tamalpais Valley’s only working sustainable farm.

This is the perfect time to hone your food
preservation skills with the the farmer's market
and your garden exploding with zucchinis, green beans,
tomatoes and more!

Farmer Ken talks about and demonstrates
the basics of drying, canning, freezing
and other methods of preserving fresh food.

Please park at Tamalpais Valley Community Center,
203 Marin Ave, and walk to the ranch
at 503 Tennessee Valley Road.
Parking for disabled is available at the ranch.
