Fees Going Up At Muir Woods Monument, San Francisco Maritime
It will cost more to visit Muir Woods National Monument and the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park next year.

BAY AREA, CA – It will cost $5 more to visit Muir Woods National Monument and the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park next year under new National Parks Service fees announced this month.
The annual pass effective Jan. 1, 2019 at Muir Woods and the Maritime National Historic Park will increase from $40 to $45. The per-person fee at each venue will increase from $10 to $15. Visitors at Muir Woods also
pay an $8 parking fee.
Visitors to Yosemite National Park also face price hikes. The annual pass rises from $60 to $70, the per-vehicle increases from $30 to $35 and from $25 to $30 for motorcycles, and the per-person fee rises from $15 to $20 effective Jan. 1. 2019.

The federal Department of the Interior in October proposed steeper fee increases at 17 popular national parks starting this year, but public feedback was overwhelmingly against it. The Department of Interiors said the National Parks Service has an $11 billion backlog in deferred maintenance.
