Crews Quickly Contain Brush Fire In Mill Valley
Police asked the public to avoid the area.

MILL VALLEY, CA – Crews quickly contained a half-acre brush fire that broke out Friday afternoon in Mill Valley.
The fire sparked in the area of Edgewood Avenue and Sequoia Valley Road, according to Mill Valley police. The fire was reported around 2:34 p.m. and was contained within 20 minutes, officials said.
No structures were threatened and no evacuations were issued.

Authorities asked the public to avoid the area while firefighters worked to fully extinguish the flames. Crews were expected to remain at the scene for a few hours.
