Four Marin High Schools Ranked Among Top 100 in California

A new report card is out for public high schools in California, and several local schools made the grade.

A total of four schools in Marin County were ranked among some of the best public high schools in a new survey. The North Bay schools were listed in the top 100 high schools across the state, according to Niche, which compiles school rankings.

Topping the list locally is Redwood High Schoolin Larkspur, which was ranked number 11 in all of California.

Next up, Tamalpais High Schoolin Mill Valley came in at 45.

Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo ranked 93, with Tamiscal High (Alternative) in Larkspur trailing just behind that school, at 94.

Niche looked at more than 23,000 public high schools in the nation to compile these rankings. In the end, they released results for some 16,000 the schools after looking at these key areas:
