Golden Gate Bridge Fee Goes Up
The FasTrak fare is now $7, while the Pay-by-Plate fare is $8 and the FasTrak carpool fare $5.

BAY AREA, CA – Drivers have to pay an additional $.25 to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, bridge district officials said. The fee went up Sunday.
The FasTrak fare is now $7. The Pay-by-Plate fare is $8 and the FasTrak carpool fare $5.
Multi-axle rates also went up, according to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District.

Fares also went up today for rides on Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District, or AC Transit, buses. The cash fare for an adult single ride is now $2.35 while the local adult 31-day pass is $84.60, AC Transit officials said.
The adult day pass remains unchanged at $5.

Fares also increased Sunday on the Golden Gate Ferry and on Golden Gate Transit regional buses. The Marin local bus fare and Giants Ferry fare will stay the same.
