FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

VALENTINE STORY TIME & CARD MAKING WORKSHOP

Where/When: Today, at the Mill Valley Library from 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Why Go: Bring on the glue. The kids will have fun creating their own Valentines and you never know, that special one might be just for you!

Pricing:  Free, just drop in!

PLAY AND DATE NIGHT

Where/When: Jump N’ Bounce Indoor Inflatable Zone, 718 San Anselmo Ave, San Anselmo. Friday 5 p.m.-10 p.m.

Why Go: Because Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday (yeah, a school night). The kiddos will love the face painting, movies and dinner while you get a break. When's the last time you ate dinner while it was still warm?

VALENTINES DAY COOKIE DECORATING

Where/When: Marin Country Mart at Larkspur Landing Circle Saturday 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Why Go: Because sugar cookies never had it so good. This is one sweet treat!

FISH FEEDING FRENZY

Where/When: Bay Model Visitor Center, Saturday 3 p.m.-3:30p.m.

Why Go: The kids will love helping Ranger Bill feed the fish. Check out the sea stars and perch.

Pricing: Free

PETER PAN LIVE MUSIC FOR SILENT FILM

Where/When: Smith Rafael Film Center, 1118 Fourth Street, San Rafael, Sunday 3pm

Why Go: Because there really is magic. A full orchestra accompanies this rare silent film. Just don't forget your pixie dust 

Pricing: $15 general, $12 children and CFI members
