Happening This Weekend: ICB ART's Artists At Work Day - January 24

A Behind-the-Scenes Creative Experience at the historic ICB Building in Sausalito

ICB ART will ring in the new year with their first Artists At Work of the year on Saturday, January, 24 from 11am to 5 pm. Artists at Work offers a rare and intimate behind-the-scenes access to artists' studios and the process of making their artwork.

ICB ART’s Sausalito waterfront building is home to over 180 professional artists. For this event, over 60 artists across every medium will open their studios. Artists at Work is only offered twice a year and is free and open to all ages. Visit the EventBrite page for more information.

Visitors are free to roam studios on all three floors of the historic ICB building, interact with the artists and watch pieces come to life before their eyes. Whether an art enthusiast, a curious newcomer, or seeking a family-friendly outing, this event offers a rare chance to witness the energy behind each creation.

Artists At Work reveals the creative process and the importance of supporting local artists. Many artworks are available for purchase and can be taken home that very same day.

“You might walk in on one artist chasing an elusive blue, another turning a sculpture to see if it finally catches the light,” said Erika Parrino, President of the ICB ART Board. “That’s the work before the work. You don’t usually get to see that. During Artists at Work, you do.”
