Hear Sirens? Mill Valley Conducting Emergency Siren Demo Thursday

MILL VALLEY, CA – The city of Mill Valley is conducting an emergency siren demonstration Thursday. The drill will take place at 10:30 a.m.

There are five emergency sirens placed throughout Mill Valley, according to the city. They can be used for many situations, but their primary use is to alert residents in the need to evacuate during a fire. The sirens are tested on the first Saturday of every month at noon. If you hear the sirens at any other time, city officials advise residents to turn on a radio or TV to a local station for emergency information. Do not call 911.
