Holy Week at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mill Valley

Reconciliation (Confession) Saturday, March 28th, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., Individual confession in the church; Monday, March 30th, 7:00 p.m. in Church, Communal Reconciliation Service with an opportunity for individual confession. (Please note that these are the last opportunities to celebrate confession before Easter.)

Passion (Palm) Sunday March 28th & 29th: Palms will be distributed before all the Masses and blessed during the Mass. The formal procession of Passion Sunday will be at 10:15 a.m. Mass. Sat. 5:30 p.m., Sun. 7:45, and 10:15 a.m.

Sunday, March 29th: 7:00 p.m. Evening Prayer

Tuesday, March 31st: 7:00 p.m. Taizé Prayer during Adoration

Wednesday, April 1st: 7:00 p.m. Scripture Reflections

Thursday, April 2nd: No 7:45 a.m. Mass.

TRIDUUM (Three Days) begins!

HOLY THURSDAY, April 2nd, 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Lord’s Supper. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament follows in the chapel until 11:00 p.m.

GOOD FRIDAY, April 3rd, No Mass. 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m. (approx.) Prayer and Stations. 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Liturgy of Good Friday with communion. Ecumenical Service, 7:00 p.m. Peace Lutheran Church 205 Tennessee Valley Road .

HOLY SATURDAY, April 4th, 8:30 p.m. Together at this special Vigil Mass we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord, beginning in darkness and moving in and towards His light. This is the major celebration of the Church’s year. (There will be no 7:45 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. Mass this day.)

EASTER SUNDAY, April 5th, Masses will be at 7:45 and 10:15 a.m.
