Holy Week at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mill Valley

The Mill Valley community is invited to join the parishioners of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for Holy Week! The schedule of events is as follows:

Reconciliation (Confession) Saturday, March 24th, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., Individual confession in the church; Monday, March 26th, 7:00 p.m. in Church, Communal Reconciliation Service with an opportunity for individual confession. (Please note that these are the last opportunities to celebrate confession before Easter.)

Passion (Palm) Sunday March 24th & 25th: Palms will be distributed before all the Masses and blessed during the Mass. The formal procession of Passion Sunday will be at 10:15 a.m. Mass. Sat. 5:30 p.m., Sun. 7:45, and 10:15 a.m.

Tuesday, March 27th: 7:00 p.m. Taizé Prayer during Adoration; All night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Thursday, March 29th: No 7:45 a.m. Mass.

TRIDUUM (Three Days) begins!

HOLY THURSDAY, March 29th, 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Lord's Supper. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament follows in the chapel until 11:00 p.m.

GOOD FRIDAY, March 30th, Services 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m (no Mass). Prayer and Stations, 12:00 noon to 1:30pm (approx.); Liturgy of Good Friday with communion, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Ecumenical Service, 7:00 p.m. Peace Lutheran Church 205 Tennessee Valley Road.

HOLY SATURDAY, March 31st, 8:30 p.m. Together at this special Vigil Mass we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord, beginning in darkness and moving in and towards His light. This is the major celebration of the Church's year. (There will be no 7:45 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. Mass this day.)

EASTER SUNDAY, April 1st, Masses will be at 7:45 and 10:15 a.m.
