Home Burglar Caught In Marin City: Sheriff

MARIN CITY, CA — A Marin City man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly burglarizing a home in Tamalpais Valley.

A burglary was reported around 1:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Harvard Avenue, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office. The victim said a window had been shattered during the day and multiple items were missing.

Surveillance video from the victim's home showed the suspect and his vehicle were in the area earlier that day.

The suspect was identified as Rashaan Kyree Doran, 23, of Marin City. He was later spotted in Marin City and taken into custody.

Doran was booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of burglary and committing a felony while out on bail. He has since been released on bail.
