TIBURON, CA – Hundreds of customers are without power Thursday due to a planned outage in Tiburon. Pacific Gas and Electric Company reported on its outage map that 355 customers are without power in the incorporated town in Marin, which is about six miles from Mill Valley.

PG&E said the outage is due to planned maintenance in the area. A repair crew is on site working to restore power.

"The safety of our customers and the community we serve is our top priority so it was an outage that was scheduled for needed maintenance on our equipment at Circle Drive and Cecilia Way," said PG&E spokeswoman Deanna Contreras. "Customers were notified via a letter that went out on Aug. 4."
